Beth's not the only bad fan. *g* I do like D'Argo but Jool was never a favorite. I didn't hate her, just kind of nothing there for me. And I think, deep down, they could have gotten rid of any character on the show but John and Aeryn and I'd been okay with it, at least after a while. Thaat said though, I did love the minds of the Farscape Powers that be (most of the time) so it'll be interesting to see what they do with the story lines and characters. I'll know better after I read the next ones whether I'll get more.
LOL, well, since we're all J/A shippers here (it says so in the welcome message!

), it will come as no surprise to you that I completely agree with you that they could have gotten rid of anyone but John and Aeryn and I would have been okay with it. (Goes along with the mantra I used to chant at the TV screen as Babylon 5 played out: "You can do anything you want, Joe, blow up earth if that's where you're going, but
don't mess with Sheridan and Delenn!!!!")
I guess where we differ is that I actually liked Jool, and I missed her in Season 4. I missed Zhaan, and I'll probably miss D'Argo going forward. The two characters who never jelled for me, and who never added any value to the show as far as I was concerned, are Sikozu and Noranti. It's not because they were only there one season -- Jool was only there for season 3, but I got to like her quite a bit. They just didn't work for me, and I have no interest in them. If Boom! were to announce a comic series about Noranti's past or one about Scorpius and Sikozu between BT and PKW....I wouldn't be interested. Mind you, I'd buy them, because a) I'm a completist, and b) I want to encourage Boom! and Henson to do more Farscape, but I doubt I'd read 'em.
So, I totally see where you're coming from on Jool and D'Argo. That was a long way to get there, eh?
