Should anyone want to gorge on my stuff, it can be found here.

No worries though, there's not enough there to make anyone sick. I think.   I hope.

I just wanted to let you know that I reread the 40 Acres and a Mule and really enjoyed it. It was very moving the way the crew worked so hard to give John a surprise party. There have been a lot of "let's throw John a party" stories, but they're often very sentimental. This one was sweet without being sentimental. I also really liked the present John gave Chiana and how thrilled she was with it. And the fact that Aeryn welded him a heart was very nice. I got a sense that she really felt left out at the party.

And then, because I remember liking it so much, I reread Dispossession. Okay, it's long and I actually only read it from the moment of J&A's escape to the end. I just love that part. I love the whole section at the vet's. What a great character, and I love how John feels comfortable enough to open up with this guy who is a stranger but seems to understand.

And of course, the whole idea of the tiny coffin/shoe box was just so sad. I love the way you showed Aeryn deciding to help John and then finding out that she needed his help just as much. Really great job with their thoughts and feelings in this.

Thanks for the renewed feedback, CM, it's making me fuzzy all over again.  :-[
