Who are these people, and why are they wearing bunny ears?!?!!?

First, let us start by saying,
"WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE FLUFFY BUNNIES!!" 
Now that we've got the greetings and the enthusiasm over with
, we would like to tell you a little about ourselves.
We are a group of friends known as the Farscape Fluffy Bunny Writers.
We began life as a group of friends who came together to discuss the Farscape fanfic that we wrote
, expanded into an email ring, and formed deeper friendships in the process. We discuss everything, sometimes beta read for each other, and always support each other in our shippyness. (“Ship” is short for relationship; “shippers” generally are fans who are attracted mainly to the relationship aspects of a show or story. “Shippy” or “shippyness” usually, but not always, refers to romantic relationships.)
As a group, we are die-hard John and Aeryn shippers. If you are too, you'll be very happy here.

Please note, however, that although we are John and Aeryn shippers at heart, Fluffy Bunny fic comes in infinite variety, as you'll learn when you explore our offerings. From domestic drama (or comedy) to action-adventure, from dark fic to fairy tales, there is something here for just about everyone.
But why are we
Fluffy Bunnies? The term
fluffy has occasionally been used in the fandom to imply lack of substance in a story, and therefore a lack of worth within the larger body of Farscape fanfic. At times, shippy fic has been described as such. For us, however, the ship and the hope inherent in each and every episode of Farscape are the most important aspects of the show. If that’s fluffy, so be it. And if we're going to be fluffy, we might as well be bunnies, right? What could be fluffier?
And so, with tongue in cheek and a song in our hearts, at Loco's urging (instigation!) we embraced our fluffiness and the title
The Fluffy Bunnies. We lightheartedly took Bunny names, which we hoped reflected something about ourselves and how we relate to the Bunnies, Farscape and life in general.
aeryncrichton (or AC) is Shippy Bunny. Read a few of her fics; you'll understand the nick. (But please don't say they're "sweet"!
)
Atana_Mirtai (or Atana) is Tormented Bunny. She
so enjoys tormenting our favorite couple!!
Auna is Faithful Bunny. Without faith in
something, there is no hope. And hope is what we all live for.
Cretkid is Gneiss Bunny, a reference to both her personality and her geophysics degrees.
Crystal Moon (or CM) is Sleuth Bunny, due to her amazing powers of investigation.
frelledbyfate (or FBF) is Twisted Bunny. Wait til you get to know her better. She’s got her own unique view of the universe! LOL
imloco2 (or loco) is the original Bennie's Bunny, because... it's a tough job, but she was the first to volunteer!! (which means she beat the other bunnies off with a stick!)
KernilCrash (or Crash) is Guinness Bunny.
She uses the calories in Guinness to fuel her imagination!
ScaperRed is Pyrotechnical Bunny because good ship is always explosive. Her motto: blow something up in every fic.
ShipsCat (or Ships) is Oracle Bunny, for her prophetic Farscape dreams and visions.
shipsister (or sis) is Idea Bunny because she has all the great ones!!
Tazey (or Taz) is Petite Bunny because she's our sweet, petite, French bunny.
In one of those peculiar quirks of life, the Bunnies had the misfortune to hop into existence on September 6, 2002 -- the same horrible, devastating day that the cancellation of Farscape was announced.
In aeryncrichton’s words:
It's one of those wonderful (horrible) ironies of life -- we formed this group based, among other things, on hope, and then we get hit with this devastating blow! Pthbtttt!
As Bunnies, we became our own silver lining; we helped each other make it through that terrible time, and to keep the hope of a future for Farscape going.
Now, more than six years later (and still counting), we still love Farscape and we continue to support each other, not only in our undying shippyness but also in the ups and downs of life.
